Search Methods and Results information.
Part A - Search Methods
(Company Name or Q-Links)
1. Using the "
Company Search" box locating in the top right corner
- Key in Partial or Full Business Name and Click the "Company Search"
button
e.g. if you input "Pizza" and Click "Company Search", results will display
all registered business with operating name that contains "Pizza"
Valid results would include:
ABC Pizza Inc - Pizzaria - CanPizza .....
2. Q-Links
(a) Click the "Solid Right-Arrow"
- Common Business types are listed (and will revise accordingly) and clicking any
of the Business Type (such as Restaurant, Plumbing etc.) will conduct a quick search
of all business licenced under the selected category.
(b) Click the "Business Class Link"
- Clicking on the Business Class, such as Ground Transportation will show all the
Business Types classified under the selected class. You can then Click on the target
Business Type for licenced business information.
Part B - Results
The Results page consists of 3 panels
Panel 1 - will display the selected Licence Type, Licence Fee and NAICS ID
Panel 2 - will display "Typcial" document and inspection requirements associated
with the selected licence type (Refer to By-law 2005-0067 for
details)
Panel 3 - will dislay the number of records found and the licenced business information
(Operating As, Address, Location and Phone)
To sort on a particular column (e.g. arrange the location in ascending order), click
on the "Header Text" of Location
If the total number of records found is more than 10, there will be "Page Number"
for easy paging.
